East Texas cabin

Thirteen years ago we built a get-away cabin in East Texas (at Holly Lake Ranch).  We've spent many wonderful days there relaxing and enjoying the quiet rural life of the area.  But it's time to move on, and we've put it up for sale.  In the past decade our cabin has been the subject of a number of my watercolors.  Here are a few.

Pop Art Exhibit in Richardson

I'm pleased to be part of Richardson's (Texas) first PopUp Art Exhibition that we just hung today.  It opens tomorrow evening (Saturday, July 13) and features 12 local artists . . . the opening, from 5:30 to 8 PM, is replete with food, drink and live music.  If you are in the North Dallas/Richardson area, drop by Saturday evening.  Here are details . . .

If the image is hard to read, the opening reception is at the Spring Hill Marriott Suites, located on Shiloh, one block south of Renner in Richardson (due south of the new hospital extension).  I hope to see you there.

Happy Birthday, USA!

In honor of our country's 237th birthday, I'm posting two paintings.  I finished the first a short while ago and the second several years ago . . . they both work for this great holiday.  Thanks to all of the warriors who have our backs all over the world!
